We play various strategy boardgames.
If you have a specific game you wish to play, bring it along. Otherwise, you'll likely have a broad choice of games to learn and play because several members usually bring lots of different types of games ranging from "light and frothy" to "heavy and thoughtful" with many choices in between. Most members are very happy to teach you any game you want to learn.
Guthrie's is a tavern that invites game play - it has lots of games for play on its shelves though few are of the esoteric kind the Meetup members play.
It has a very limited bar menu which includes wings, popcorn, and pizza - if you want to order food, Guthrie's has a bin of menus for local restaurants that deliver to Guthrie's.
